Who I am in a nutshell

Hi there!

Great to have you here. Let me introduce myself!

I enjoy working on web applications where development, design, and user experience come together. With nearly four years of experience in full-stack development, my main passion lies in the front-end, translating ideas into solutions that not only work well, but are also pleasant to use.

I am someone who pays close attention to detail, enjoys thinking along on improvements, and gets energy from building high-quality applications. Whether it’s performance, usability, or refining interactions, I like to explore how a product can become more accessible, efficient, and visually strong.

Outside of development, I enjoy combining creativity and technology, and I continuously challenge myself with new ideas, tools, and innovations.

Hobby's?

In my free time, I enjoy being creative through activities such as model building, Lego, painting, and drawing. I’ve also recently started learning to play the piano, something I’m gradually discovering more and more.

I also enjoy gaming, with Tetris currently being one of my favourites. I’m an avid reader as well, especially within the fantasy and science fiction genres, as I enjoy getting lost in other worlds and ideas.

    Worked on the development, maintenance, and modernization of three core applications used daily by customer advisors and administrators. Additionally, I was responsible for setting up and structuring front-end applications within existing environments. The focus was on improving UX, performance, and maintainability within complex systems with many integrations. This included refactoring components, setting up XML and JSON integrations, and implementing technical modernizations such as Angular upgrades and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub. I also collaborated with external parties and partners to ensure stable integrations.

    Skills-management platform - Capgemini

    Graduation project in which I developed a redesigned skills management system for Capgemini, aimed at providing insight into employees’ available and missing hard skills. Existing fragmented systems and Excel overviews were replaced by a single centralized skills dashboard with a matrix view. The UX was designed based on user data, and the system was built end-to-end with a strong focus on front-end development and data visualization.
